Sport-Timer 3000 Wireless Racing Controller

You can add additional Beams if Start and Finish Gates are in different locations.

The Beam consists of two parts, the Wireless Receiver and Transmitter.
The Transmitter sends a narrow invisible Infra Red Beam to the Receiver on a continuous bases. Any interruption of the Beam between the Transmitter and Receiver sends a code to the Controller that can be used to start or stop the program. The remote Transmitter is a wireless connection between the Transmitter and Receiver. Both the Transmitter and Receiver have standard tripod screw mounts for attachment to photo style tripods and both use individual 9 VDC Alkaline batteries.
Alignment between the Transmitter and Receiver is accomplished by first turning on the Transmitter and positioning it in a location from 6 to 100 Feet (2 to 30 Meters) from the Receiver. Turn the Receiver on and point the Receiver at the Transmitter, when alignment is correct a red LED on the back of the Receiver will turn on solid indicating alignment.
Passing through the Beam will start and stop the Controller and record your time.

Large Displays
The Optional Large Displays are not necessary to run your event using the Sport-Timer 3000 Wireless Racing Controller and Beam but add the ability to display your times to spectators when transmitted from the Controller.
The Controller will transmit to any number of Displays placed around the event within range.
